Proposed 2027 budget

This is the proposed 2027 budget, which will be voted on at the assembly on Saturday, November 14. A printable summary and the full month-by-month report are attached.

2027 expenses: 4,685,990 pesos (275,646 dollars) Dues income: 4,200,000 pesos (247,059 dollars) Shortfall: -485,990 pesos (-28,587 dollars)

Where the money goes: Staff (payroll and IMSS): 3,184,000 pesos (187,294 dollars), 67.9% Taxes (SAT, state payroll tax, property tax and taxes on card payments): 739,395 pesos (43,494 dollars), 15.8% Lawyer, accountant and notary: 343,908 pesos (20,230 dollars), 7.3% General expenses and uniforms: 303,684 pesos (17,863 dollars), 6.5% Electricity, water and internet: 115,003 pesos (6,765 dollars), 2.5%

This budget does not include a dues increase and assumes collections improve: in 2026, 60% of billed dues were collected. If more or less is collected, the shortfall changes. The board proposes keeping dues the same and covering the shortfall with donations.

The beach access stairs and the street repair are not in this budget. They will be presented separately at the assembly, each with its own fundraiser.

Pesos convert to dollars at 17.00, the rate in the office's dollar version of the budget, rounded so the lines add up to the totals.
